Not “just” condensation

We were asked to investigate a horrendous damp issue at this recently vacated property.

Whilst we will never refer to this as “just” condensation – there were no underlying rising or penetrating damp issues. We would envisage that the living conditions when occupied would have been much worse than if the property actually had rising damp, however, the fabric of the building is sound.

It may well be the case that the occupancy habits of the new tenants might well mean this issue does not reoccur, however, we did provide advice on mitigating problems going forward
