Remedial Work

It’s a rotten job, but someone’s got to do it! What if remedial work is required?

At Rowallan Specialist Surveys our service is to provide the customer with the most appropriate advice in relation to problems of dampness and timber decay. We provide an honest assessment of any property we inspect and specialist remedial work is not always required.

Should our report recommend specialist remedial work and treatments are required, the customer has the option to use our specification for comparison with other quotes from specialist contractors, provide a copy of our specification to their own contractor, undertake works themselves or contact us to organise remedial works to be undertaken by one of our Approved Specialist Contractors.

Whilst we do not undertake remedial works directly, we can arrange for the works specified to be undertaken by one of our Approved Specialist Contractors. Although any contract will be between the customer and the Approved Specialist Contractor, you can be confident that work will be undertaken in accordance with our specification by skilled and experienced technicians complying with stringent industry standards in terms of workmanship and health and safety. Works will be carried out with the minimum of disruption and within the cost estimated by ourselves.

Please also note that if remedial work specified is undertaken by one of our Approved Specialist Contractors, our survey fee will be refunded to you by the contractor on completion of the contract.
